Additional assistance will include supply of anti-mortar radar systems
300 million dollars. This is the amount of US-taxpayer assistance Ukraine’s military will receive in 2016 to bolster combat readiness.
Current US administration plans for the money include training Ukrainian troops.
In addition, Pentagon representatives say they will continue to pressure the Kremlin to cease funnelling arms and troops into east Ukraine.
Additional assistance will include the supply of non-lethal military aid, including radar systems capable of pinpointing the location of enemy artillery fire from up to 20 kilometers away.
